How to Cash in On Your Opt-In List

Email marketing has proved to be a very successful online marketing method for many marketers. To share such a success story however you have to learn how to do it right. Mail marketing involves much more than just gathering numerous email addresses into a database and sending them a series of sales letters. First, you have to compile a targeted list of email addresses in what is called an opt-in list. Many online marketers have created what they thought to be a killer opt-in list only to be faced with little or nothing to show for their efforts. This raises the question, how to cash in on your opt-in list? Your ability to get maximum returns from your mailing list would first depend on the quality of the list you have.

Never send unsolicited mails or add an email address to your mailing list without the permission of the owner. That practice is known as spamming, it gives you an unprofessional image, and could get your mail address marked for spamming. How then do you cash in on your opt-in list with the right list? After creating a proper opt-in list (you can start with a small list), you need to pay attention to your copy or sales letter. Remember that the reader is a real person with limited time to spend on one email, so get straight to the point. Make sure that you clearly explain and highlight benefits of taking up your offer. Using bullets to outline main points help to make them stand out. If you have problems with creating a sales letter yourself use the services of a professional. The letter gives an impression about your company and services and so take care to write them properly.

Personalize your emails, addressing the recipient by name and always include a privacy statement. The privacy statement is to remind the reader that their email address and confidentiality is important to you. Most importantly always use a captivating topic. Most emails are not read because the topic is not attractive enough. Spend enough time generating captivating titles that would at least get them to open the email. The email should also contain clear links to your web pages. Your emails should always try to redirect traffic back to your website, as that is an effective method on how to cash in on your opt-in list.

A secret tool on how to cash in on your opt-in list is the use of auto responders. This is a useful tool in managing your mailing list. You can configure your auto responder system to send periodic emails on your behalf in a pre-set sequence. It also can help you send customized and personalized mails. Look for a good auto responder system to use and never give up after sending just a couple of emails. Research shows that it takes an average of seven emails sent to a respondent to move him/her to a desirable action. Learning how to cash in on your Opt-in list can help you immensely.

Leisure Audio Books is working for me as I write!

I recently became a member of Leisure Audio Books, and I want to share my humble opinion with you today.

This is like nothing I have ever experienced before, I was shocked to find that is totally unique, never seen before, and I believe it to be revolutionary, and I'll explain why.

If you don't believe that it's POSSIBLE for you to make money with affiliate programs or make your living on the Internet, you won't. It's that simple.

For me, figuring out that it was possible was just a matter of realizing that many other people were ALREADY making great money online. If they could do it, I could too. It would just be a matter of figuring out what those people were doing and then adapting it to my situation.

The lesson here is that you will never really be READY to start an affiliate marketing business. You simply have to start one. This is what I call "Making the Leap."

The good news is that the cost of failure on the Internet is very small. In the "brick and mortar" world you need to evaluate things very carefully before you decide to open up a business. It's almost always necessary to invest thousands of dollars to get an offline business off the ground. However, on the Internet you can often start a successful business for less than $100.
